CONFERENCE CHAIRMAN
Jason has been active with Fremont County SAR (FCSAR) since 2005. In 2010 he became the Commander of the Riverton Division. FCSAR historically has one of the largest call volumes within the state; they executed 56 missions during 2010. Jason’s passion for SAR has been focused on the idea of being able to cooperate with all agencies and improving the efficiency of FCSAR. Jason has received training in CPR/Wilderness First Aid, Rope Rescue, Ice Rescue, Basic Man Tracking, NIMS, GPS/Navigation, Basic Avalanche and ELT. Jason has lived in Wyoming his entire life and currently resides in Riverton. When not volunteering for FCSAR he is a Golf Course Superintendent at the Lander Golf Club, which keeps him busy in the summer months. He and his fellow FCSAR member wife Kendra own and operate Java Java Espresso. His hobbies include; hunting, fishing, backpacking, skiing, jeeping, golfing,cooking,attending music festivals/concerts and most importantly spending time with friends and family. Jason and his wife have three Labrador Retrievers that they claim as their children. |
